p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Do all Panasonic cameras pulse/focus hunt in AF video?

Rented a G9 as I was thinking about picking up a Panasonic camera for video work. Noticed the background in the videos would pulse and focus hunt a lot. Looked it up and it seems to be an issue with Panasonic cameras due to the poor contrast AF. Do they all do this? This is a deal-breaker for sure on an otherwise great camera. Any workarounds? Thanks
