I had a piece in a juried show in 2014 in New York. The Mrs and I spent a few days there and of course I hit the streets. Here are some images from when we were there. I believe this is the first time I have posted there here.

Just beautiful Marine!! Such great tones, sharpness and texture! The motion and reflections in some really work well here! NYC is always in some kind of motion 24/7!!

And YES!! I recognized that father "hauling" his daughter over his shoulder very well! One of the finest photos I have seen!

Argh, no, no! It's Tucson, Arizona, guys!

Seriously, I do miss working in a large, east coast metropolis but I've grown to appreciate the diversity of Tucson. Still, certainly what the art world considers street is still what is being done in New York.

Chicago is also really good. LA to. Houston, all big cities have amazing street opportunities. I was in the Phoenix area and Scottsdale a couple of years back and it was pretty good to. Have gotten some interesting things in the Fla Kays as well and Santa Fe and Taos. In my opinion you just have to be able to see and get out there.

Yep, visiting for a short time span is nice in that one sees a lot of different things and though I've done a little parachuting with good results, I'll take New York over Phoenix any day.

I live in the Chicago area. Never run out of things or neighborhoods. But you're right, New York is a different level even from Chicago.

The stained glass in front of the food worker is nice touch, kinda moody and atmospheric. Of course, at the right moment too, while they are reaching out to clean and in deep thought.

Have you ever thought about organizing the photos on your site into different gallery pages, maybe by city or by neighbourhood or by year, something like that. Even by genre because you do more than street photography, some buildings and landscapes too, even abstract, like the photo of the wire on the wall, which I also like.
