I bought the GFX 100s and I really loved shooting with it, but it was also heavier in my backpack than I liked while hiking out for landscape photography, and the lack of any practical to carry lens that would reach past 200 was a real issue for me. I was carrying the 45/2.8, 23/4, and 100-200, and it felt pretty crappy. Compare this to carrying a Canon R5, RF 14-35/4 and RF 100-400 and it’s much lighter.
I sold the GFX 100s and thought I wouldn’t look back.
However, I ended up looking back. And I recently reacquired the GFX 100s after spending some time looking through some of my photos from last year and playing around with reprocessing them, they are just so beautiful.
This time I’m giving it a go with just the 32-64, and I’ll leave the more extreme focal lengths to my other cameras.
