Went out for a beautiful early morning paddle in the kayak. Not much going on aside from a lone Double-crested Cormorant.
All comments and critiques are welcome.

Really nice shots. I like the first and last one of him the most. Only critique is he appears to be overexposed. It looks like you may have tried to adjust for that with the -1 exposure compensation. He needed a little bit more, then you could bring the shadows up in post if necessary. Harsh light is hard to work with....

Agreed. I shoot aperture priority 90% of the time. In the last shot SS dropped because of the darker background and the bird got too hot. Manual would have been a much better choice here. I thought I had it but obviously misjudged. Very much appreciate the input !
