Brand New Wood Duck

I heard two stories at to when this duckling was born. The first was that it was 30 minutes out of its nest and the second born the day before on Mothers Day. No matter how old it was tiny and cute as can be. It could easily fit on my hand with it's head smaller than my thumb. The shooting conditions were tricky as I had to shoot between the bars of a wrought iron fence whos bars were too close together to push my lens through.
