I have been looking to take this pic for months and, unfortunately, didn't achieve what I was looking for due to the Sun setting behind the cliffs and as such not giving me the cast I want, a good excuse to go back next winter and try and try again...

A stack of three shots focused on different spots to achieve max DOF

Thanks to you both for the kind comments, this pushes me to try again when the right time comes nonetheless the 250+ steps it takes to get back off the shore

Excellent composition. Some interesting clouds would help, but you cannot control the weather.

I have been there between Jan and March maybe 7-8 times, 250+ steps to climb at a time, clouds, rain, storm, unfortunately with nice clouds and big waves it becomes a nightmare to focus stack, I figured that the Sun gives a great red cast on the rocks only until end of Feb or so, I borrowed good NDs from a friend to take this shot so I will delay to next year to try and achieve the one I figured in my mind but that's the beauty of photography, you never end learning and even tho the same scene it always looks different.

Thanks for the nice comments, they push me to keep trying, I am not much of a landscape guy but it remains a good excuse to hike and keep oneself entertained during the long and boring off season

Grazie
