Flower photography isn't my main thing, but I do it sometimes — especially when I photograph with my wife. It is her thing. A few weeks ago it was tulip time at a SF Bay Area garden, so we spent the morning with these flowers. These photographs are a sequence that begins with still-green buds, passes through the first faint bud color, then to a a new flower, and finally one that has fully bloomed.

Nice Dan. "Emerging" is my favorite. Looks like we both did tulip visits with out wives.
