I especially liked all the shorebirds. I like (on your website) that you include a description of your outing. This adds a lot to the experience of the day in nature.

Did you try doing video with the Z9? Without looking back, I seem to recall you mentioning here, that you would soon be doing that.

If so, what do you think?

I did have a little go. I shot 4 seconds of a Hooded Merganser but 2 seconds of it were the bird disappearing off the screen.

When I get a suitable subject I'll have another bash it.

So back to this question. It is Lichen on the tree and that tree is called a "Live Oak" tree.
