These egg sitters spotted me in my kayak in the middle of Little Assawoman Bay
This Osprey platform has a nearby pole that the male used to stand watch
The female was on the platform, I am guessing sitting on eggs
While these Osprey are accustomed to boat traffic they clearly had eyes on me

Good luck going forward with this family Bob. According to google, the Board of Geographic Names changed this from the original Assawaman Bay back in 1966. Honestly, I think they should have stuck with the original. I sincerely hope there's not a Big Assawoman Bay

You just have to love these Indian names. Grand Tetons for mammals, Assawoman for birds and (before polluted) fish. Something for everyone.
