He/she looks upset! Gosh that is a beautiful bird and love the dappled red on the tree, kind of sets the tone of blood for this raptor.

Karl Thanks Karl. He, I think. He had a meal in sight and took off maybe 2 seconds after this shot. Could not see if he got it or not!

Dave, you did a great job working around the branches and framing the subject perfectly. What a beautiful bird and a great shot of this Falcon in it's natural environment.

Thats Gary!
About 1/3 of the shots in the about 2 minute window I got to shoot him had his head partially behind a branch.
But I was very happy to get what I got.

Thanks Morris. I have many from the past of Peregrines in top of tree with sky background. I was so happy to find them in "the woods" for a change.
