My first thought on seeing the opening image was "overcooked", but then I thought about some dramatic spring days around here when the first growth seems to glow and my brain switched to go with the flow with your dramatic creative processing. "Slip Sliding Away" is my favorite - love the clouds and all lines leading to the center. Nice work, looks like a wonderful trip.

Hi, Jim. Thank you for your wonderful and generous comment! I fully agree with you and your first impression of the first image in this series. At first I thought the same, thinking it looked way over saturated, but after looking at the raw file, I concluded that that was just the way it was. Idaho spring time produces very intense greens because we normally get a LOT of rain from April to June. If you ever have the opportunity to take a raft down the Snake or a jet boat up the Snake river in Hell's Canyon you will find yourself in such awe of the incredible rugged beauty of this place.
