Eagle shots with the Sony A1 + Canon 500 F4 ii. The Canon lens works well on the Sony and 10 frames a sec is not so bad.

Lovely set of images Phil with great feather detail in both the dark and light feathers. I also like the backgrounds which are much nicer than plane sky.

I was using the MC-11. Seems to work well. I have had no problems with it.

You are too kind Joshua! I actually missed a lot of shots because the camera switched to the slower card and I filled up the buffer too early. My wife got a lot more shots at the end than me so she may be the more capable one.

Phil, since we are only posting the best keepers of what you get, what we miss doesn’t count. You should encourage your wife to post hers here as well. Ah, I see that she allowed you to post hers here. Great captures!

Did you use up the storage of a faster card in the first slot that made the camera switched to a slower one in a different slot? Is that what happened?

Joshua,
Yes, the first card was full so the camera was using the second card which was not a CF-Express. My wife said to post some of hers so I posted a few above. She enjoys it when she gets more keepers than me so I always know what I have missed out on.

Great set, Phil! I also really like W2 and W3 but I prefer how you lifted the shadows in #4.
