Once I switched to primes I'm afraid that was it for the zooms (Pentax, Nikon, Sony, Contax) as far as 'standard' focal lengths go (16mm - 85mm). I know zooms have improved immensely but with primes I retain redundancy (essential when in remote locations) and wider apertures plus usually a weight saving (if not in the bag then at least on the camera) and of course choice, if I would prefer to have different features for different focal lengths in a zoom range (I don't wish to turn this into a prime vs zoom debate, just stating my personal preference).
Now in the focal ranges you mentioned these are my lenses that I'm very happy with :
Laowa 12/2.8 (with magic adapter it becomes a 17mm f4 Tilt lens). Too heavy for travel but wonderful otherwise, especially in cities.
Samyang 18mm : often carried (very light) but rarely used.
Samyang 24/1.8 (replaced my Loxia 21mm as superior in some aspects, esp. Astro - I carried both until I was sure).
Sigma 35/1.4 DG DN : lovely lens but a tad heavy/large for travel
Samyang 45/1.8 : wonderful tiny lens, very sharp always worth popping in the bag
Samyang 85/1.4 : great lens that has been tested by umpteen testers and compares very well to the Sony/Sigma.
Tamron 70-180/2.8 : superb lens for travel and landscapes (my most used lens when hiking multi days and for travel). ~
For overseas or remote location travel the 18/24/45/70-180 are enough.
For landscapes 18/24/35/70-180
For people : 35/45/85/70-180
For street : 24/35/85/70-180
I have other lenses of course but these cover 95% of my shooting nowadays. I have to say the new 16-35/4 doesn't tick any boxes for me. No redundancy and slow and no zooms shine throughout their range but great maybe for landscape day trips.
