Yesterday was a gloomy day but I found some Sanderlings and a Northern Harrier. Today was a better day but only was able to wonder in the backyard for a few minutes and caught a Black-capped Chickadee (very common) in a Winter Berry Tree but also a Red-breasted Nuthatch, which is a first for the yard.
The Red-breasted Nuthatch was a bit of a good test. I has been shooting with a negative exposure comp for the Chickadee when the Nuthatch appeared so it was pretty underexposed at ISO1600. Even after cropping and cleaned up nicely in Topaz (I attached a jpg of the original unedited photo for reference)
