A shot from earlier this week - I went out to chase stormy weather. I caught rainbow instead...
The "hero story" goes like this. I saw some potential for stormy weather. I drove to one of my favorite spots, then walked about 7-8 minutes through tractor lanes to get to the place. The weather got worse. I saw a doom coming from the west. The raindrops started to fall. I walked back 7-8 minutes to the car. As I was approaching, the wind got really bad and I reached the car moments before the hell broke lose. I filmed some of the rain and wind through the window. After about 5 minutes, the storm passed and I ran back to the spot to catch the incredible rainbow that appeared. A perfect moment caught in the perfect, pristine location. The end...
Of course, this is not the end. The location, of course, is not pristine. Unfortunately, the rainbow appeared in the direction I normally avoid as there are powerlines on the horizon. I made two versions of the photo. One with all the crap (barely visible on the photo actually) and one without. This is the one with retouching applied.
I have some photos from Prague to post, but I'm so busy these days I'm not making any promises they will make it into the "Spring thread". Most likely not since the Summer is only days ahead...
Canon 5DIV, Canon 16-35 L IS, CPL, single shot. Some processing and retouching...
