Did anyone test the T-stop? The lens and the front element look suspiciously small.. (such as compare the luminosity against a reliable & recent brand name F2 and then check how much the exposure changes upon stopping down to 1.4 & then to f1.1.)

The crop f0.95 Mitakon I've had was a T1.2 at best & it was larger than this one.

For a 50mm f/1.1 lens you need a 45mm front element.

Apart form that there is no easy way to perform a test of the T-Stop and my experience is that 99.9% of times someone claims he measured it they just measured something, but not the actual T-stop.
My favorite are still the DXOmark measurements where some lenses get different T-stops on different cameras. What a hoax.

DXOMark is one big hoax. No photographer who is halfway serious can take anything from that site for face value.

Lens tilting on Noxlux 50 1.1

Leica M10R

Sony A7r3

that for reference is the Voigt 40 1.2 on M10r

a SMALL tilt on the garden on the right is included in the test, the lens "noxlux" is tilted and is funny to see how renders the same on Sony and Leica M.

The only fast 50mm I have seen yet that does that.
Still think it is a telecentric design and still think this is the reason it works perfectly on Techart LM-EA9 right into the corners.

That is definitely too much tilt in this sample though.

I don't agree with this. Yes, measuring accurately is HARD, but that's not what I want. If I had the lens on hand I would just point the tripod mounted camera at a TV screen displaying a grayscale test image.(in complete darkness ofc) Put it in manual mode & use identical -underexposed- settings to take a photo of the screen with an identical enough framing. Then compare the histograms of the resulting images & look at how much EV compensation is needed in LR to get an identical enough result. It's impossible to determine if the t-stop is really 1.1 or even 1.15, but it's certainly possible to determine if there are gains to be had over a brand name 1.4 or if the lens is a little bit of a hoax, like the Mitakon I've had.
