haha just a tid bit late here.

I have been taking a hiatus from photography so I have been a bit absent here. As a result, it is now quite a bit wintery out here so this image may seem a bit oddly timed, but eh, that is not what photography is about for me. I do what makes me feel happy, so here is a shot I took back in the fall in the Adirondacks—one of my favorite places to unwind and really hit the trails.

This image is the result of a two exposure blend. One at 1.3 seconds, the other at 3 seconds taken in sequence with my Z7 and 35 1.8 S @ f/8, ISO 64.

Fantastic view Daniel! That high angle and warm light is wonderful. So far I have only shot on one trip in the Adirondacks and look forward to going again. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice image! Beautiful color and atmosphere! The ADK area is one of favorite hiking & birding locations. Where were you when you took this photo Ross?

Wow thank you and yes! I am happy you were able to make it there even just one time. There is so much to see on the trails and I look forward to seeing some shots of yours from another trip.

Thanks John! I have never tried birding in the ADK but I know a friend who can be on a trail and literally name every single species of bird she sees. Extremely impressive.

Very nice… looks like the Washbowl from almost at the Nubble

I was up and down there a few times this fall however it was to early this year for the amount of color you captured. Have a great winter .
