A beautiful day of X-skiing up The Mountain Loop Hwy in the central Cascades of WA. I spent some time by the river flying my drone while my wife kept skiing then came back to meet me.

Thanks for the comments guys. It actually wasn't very cold that day, I got pretty warm skiing to my photo spot and didn't even put on my down parka while standing and shooting for 45 min.

Wonderful views Jim! I lived in the Mill Creek/Lake Stevens/Marysville areas for 14 years and miss photographing on the Mtn. Loop.

Thanks Ross, we've been in Lake Stevens for 30 years now and can't imagine living anywhere else because we are not very heat tolerant (although that heat dome last summer freaked us out - luckily my wife insisted we install central air 15 years ago). I'm afraid a lot of other people feel the same and our area is growing too fast for us.
