Thanks Art, I found the same thing while at Bosque the birds were very tolerant of the coyote's presence and the coyotes were fairly tolerant of my presence.

Yes Louie! It would be worth the trip just for this! This coyote is so conditioned to people that it knew it could venture close to you and not be at risk.

I’ve been there 3 times and do wish we had such a close opp as this on coyotes. We will on our next trip (my Daughter and Grandaughter). I think I know right where your coyotes came out of the woods and started their approach toward the cranes.

I love the range and quality of that Sony zoom too! That 200-600 range may be my first Nikon S lens.

On this last trip, you brought back some of the most exciting images I’ve seen of the Bosque!
