I've found more snowy owls and while the first one was very tolerant of people, this one is not so I've been staying way back and setting up in the direction I expect it will fly. This has worked out quite well with one of the other photographers asking "How come the owl always fly's towards you?" Because of the distance I'm using the Fuji 1.4x TC with my Sigma 150-500 C on my Fuji X-T3 which is an APS-C body. I needed all that reach before it took off and as the owl passed me I was at 260mm X 1.4.
