Next week it'll be a month since I've become a user of Z9. I admit to loving the camera, even though the controls are very unfamiliar to me as a Canon user of 15+ years. The tiny OK button which, so far, is the only way I know to recenter the focusing array quickly, is a bit irritating when I have to work while wearing gloves (given the season...), but that's it. Love the virtual horizon level in the viewfinder. Can't get used to the JPEG files that are now 12-15 MB large each, and given the burst speed even at the "Low" setting that I'm using, there's a LOT of them. It's a little mind boggling that these 24MP JPEG files are only the camera's MEDIUM size setting whereas they would have been the largest on the most hi-res of my prior cameras. I probably need to switch to SMALL size for the daily grind kind of shooting, given these images would be resized down further anyway for publication.
All in all, the camera is excellent. It should be, of course, given the price, but it's nice to have no buyer's regrets.
Even the humble Canon 24-85 lens works well on it. $70 lens + $250 adapter + $5500 camera =
