p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Does anyone recommend any online courses such as Albert Dros?

Different sites have been posting the black friday deal on Albert Dros' landscape photography lightroom editing course. I know the basics of lightroom and extremely limited knowledge of photosgop. Does anyone recommend Dros or any other online courses/guides? Thanks!

Lots of YouTube videos on the subject...and they're free. Just search for what you want.

Hello, I like photography a lot. It's my hobby, without which I can't live. I purchased Shaw Academy courses before I tried Albert Dros' course. I would highly recommend you to skip these courses and don't even look at them. After a while, they canceled my package and changed it to a monthly payment program. They didn't even want to give me my money back. Talking about Dros courses, they are good. You can find a lot of new and interesting information there. Sadly, I had to stop them because of my electrician career. As it turned out, it's not so easy to become an electrician (which is logical, lol). You can check https://www.electricianclasses.com/how-long-does-it-take-to-become-an-electrician/ to understand what I am talking about. Thus, if you are still thinking about buying Dros' courses or not, my answer is - yes! They are very helpful and informative, and you will improve your skills a lot!

If you are into landscape photography, I highly recommend Sean Bagshaw including the TK masking panel. Not only do you get a great masking tool, but if you get his tutorials, you will get a lot of info on how to achieve certain "looks" and also learn the logic, why, and when to perform certain tasks to achieve the results you want.

I second all of the Sean Bagshaw courses. They are all excellent. I started with both his Photoshop Courses and then his Lightroom Course and then his Workflows videos. Some of them are on the older LR and PS and TK Panels, but like Jim said its not just do this and get that. He goes into why and when to use things for certain look and feel.

Like all of the other posters, I look on YouTube for specific answers to questions too.

Meunch Workshops has the most intensive and broad ranged course on Lightroom.

I would second the endorsement of Sean Bagshaw’s videos . After being concerned about the learning curve for Photoshop, I purchased Sean’s Photoshop Essentials for Outdoor Photographers . It’s everything that I needed and look forward to working with the videos most days. I think leaning Photoshop is worth the effort as it really will improve your photos. Give Sean’s site a look.
