Here's a recent shot of Indiana's first Limpkin. This was shot with the RF600, 2X TC, and was at ISO 5000. It cleaned up very nicely and retained very good sharpness. Very pleased with this. I bought an R7 for situations that would be similar to this. My final image with the 2X and at ISO 5000 is very similar to shots I got with the R7 with the bare 600 shot at ISO 1600. Lighting was slightly different, distance to the bird may have been a bit different overall, but very please with the R3 in this situation.
