I was up at Maroon Lake a few weeks ago. I was shooting sunset. Just after the sun went behind the peaks, this White Tailed Fox trotted by through the brush. Although I was setup for shooting landscapes, I was lucky enough to get a shot or two of him.

Thank you Pius. Out of all the photographers there I was the only one to get a usable image. Thanks to the a1 "Oh Sh**" Button I programed for just such an occurrence, and the luck of testing an all in one zoom lens at that very moment.

Better lucky that good!

The a1 sensor held up really well at 12800 ISO as well.

He was a very handsome fox, and knew right where to pause, and pose for a good background. Well trained by the NPS I assume.

Great shot! I believe I saw the same fox as you seen, but failed to capture his eyes.

Thanks Paul! It wouldn't surprise me if you saw the same fox there. I think they tend to hang out and raid the camp sites.
