Had an opportunity to be in Santa Cruz for a business trip and decided to photograph couple of light houses. Day 1 photographed Walton Lighthouse but no drama in sky but got a nice pink glow past sunset. Day 2 met up with fellow FM Bob and we drove down to Pigeon Point but the weather was not great. At Pigeon point there are lots of possibilities of shooting the lighthouse. Couldn't explore more due to weather, it was super windy and think clouds. Will definitely be back to photograph during better conditions.

First image is a killer. Love the composition with the rocks leading you to the main subject, the lighthouse. The colour and overall subtle mood tops off the composition.

You did my local lighthouse justice, wonderful leading lines and colors. You might want to consider cropping the left side of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse photo to feature the nice light on the water more. Great choice of shutter speed, the water has a nice amount of movement.

Thanks Bob, it came out better then I thought. Good point about cropping the 2nd image. I really need to start playing with crop to see how it can enhance the image. Thank you, appreciate the feedback.
