I shot a charity golf tournament on Friday. I got to drive around the course in a cart. I was lucky enough to encounter quite a few Blue Herons and Great Egrets. Although These are shot with my Nikon D5 and 500mm F4, I was still closer than I had ever been and the birds seemed pretty indifferent to all the golfers.

Very nice. Good thing they are used to people, you can get really nice closeups.
