A few years ago on our traditional Fall trip to Italy we read on line that the Fall colors in New England were the most intense they had been in decades. So, we decided to stop on the way home and go see them. I really don't have any basis for comparison, but I can say they were amazing.
On one of our morning drives exploring the back roads we came upon this farm. The morning was overcast and drizzling. The overcast provided nice even, soft light. The wet increased the vibrancy of all the colors.
I shot this frame purposely a little underexposed to maintain detail in the metal roof, and increase vibrancy. The Nikon files are so good that I often did that because I can recover so well in post. Been a while since I processed Nikon files. Reminded me how great They are to work with.
Enjoy!
