This was shot on the D500 and 500PF at 1/200 f5.6 ISO500 at Sandy Point Bird Sanctuary in West Haven CT on Tuesday on the way back from a trip to Maine. Who needs FF bodies and f2.8 glass?

That is a very fine low light capture Eric.
I often seek to maintain the light levels as I see them
either in early morning or late evening.

Thank you Douglas! Obviously keeper rate will be lower but I work on my panning to help get shots like these. I will get just enough light on them to be able to identify them either with low SS or ISO but I do not like high ISO on such low light shots if I can help it
