I don't normally like zoo's for a number of reasons, however, the San Diego Zoo is my 1 exception. Since I probably won't make it to Ladakh anytime soon I decided to look for the most Magnificent of Big Cats at the SD Zoo. Even at a zoo they are hard to spot but here I was able to capture a partial image of this Beauty.

Very nice image of what looks like a young snow leopard to me. If it is, then it's probably offspring of the Bronx Zoo breeding program.

It is indeed a Snow Leopard. AKA also referred to as The Ghost Cat.
