This is NOT my best landscape photo but IS one of the more daring ventures. I figured I'd share. I'm not ready for NatGeo yet sadly.
What I am sharing are swimming dolphins in a landscape photo. They were swimming around one morning and we took our dinghy out to see them and they promptly came over to meet us and swim in front of the slow moving raft.
Technical details had me shooting 16mm wide, fast shutter freeze motion, polarizing filter to see through the water and trying to including a bit of the mountains in the distance. Good photo to bad ratio was about 1:50.
Whew. IDK. Tell me what you think.

Looks like a great experience, with some nice action captures, particularly the first one.

Well captured at best time where we can see transparently dolphin's driving motion.

Very very cool. Being that close to wild animals brings so many feelings + emotions, you just totally forget the real world for a few moments. I had a hands on experience with a Great Blue Heron last summer ; I know I'll never forget every ounce of that experience.

The color of the mountains aren't that exciting with this light, but the water is really good!

Overall, great images with nice subjects. What's important is the emotions thanks for sharing

These are fantastic, especially the first one. Not often you can use animals as leading lines

Thank you all for kind comments. The animals certainly bring a great dynamic element to trying to get the shot.

Thanks David. The emotions are the important part and thank you for so clearly identifying that.

In my desperation to get a shot, I'm glad they lined up good enough for me! They literally came over and swam in front of us for about 10 minutes before taking off to find some other interesting thing in the ocean.
