Indeed, there are some contradictory informations on SAR about the weight. At first he gives some technical details about the lens, which shows clearly that it's heavier than the Sony, and then this...
If it's right, it may not be a state of the art 35 1.4, but a lens with compromises. It could be clever, maybe they want to protect their 35 1.2.
But yeah, nokishita has proven many times in the past that tey are more reliable than SAR, so...
EDIT :
In fact : if the picture leaked is correct, the Sigma seems at least slightly bigger :

I could be wrong with this superposition because we can't really see the mount itself to make a proper comparison, but if the last "tube" before the mount is about the same size as the GM, this is how it will look like....Show more →
From my understanding, Nokishita is in Japan and gets actual leaks (early images, spec sheets, inventory listings, etc.) and not just speculation/rumors from "sources" like SAR. Sometimes SAR will post a rumor first and be right, but I can't recall Nokishita posting detailed specs that have turned out to be wrong. Based on the specs provided by Nokishita, the Sigma is ~15mm longer, about the same height, and ~116g heavier.
