Engagement photos we took of this lovely young couple this past weekend. Natural light with reflector to bring some light back into the back-lit shots. Nikon Z5 with the amazing Voigtlander 50mm f1.2 lens (Leica M mount plus adapter). Seriously impressed with this glass! Pairs well with the Nikon Z.

That glass renders beautifully!

As for the images, I wish you hit the focus on the first one (see how her arm is sharp and their faces aren't?)

On the second, the tilt looks accidental (easily fixed) and I think the focus is off just a bit (eyes not tack sharp).

I am sure they are very pleased with the results.

Thanks for the feedback. This lens is special indeed.

I used focus peaking to confirm focus for this set. Peaking plus magnification would have been better, I may try that next time. The first one is off slightly indeed, but it doesn't bother me for this image.

Can you explain what you mean with "tilt looks accidental"? Not sure what that means?

When I see an image with a slight tilt, it looks more like an accident, rather than on purpose. Some images benefit from a tilt, to give the image an edgy feel. Tilting this image (IMO) detracts, rather than adds anything to the image.
