This is a double post as I also posted in Black and White Forum.
I thought it would also be appropriate here as it presents both a close up of the rock formations, and a vista looking south into the distant valley.
I'm experimenting with BW processing of my images, and thought this one was a candidate to include here. This photo tones down the characteristic orange/brown metamorphic volcanic rock which defines this area. This area is truly a unique place to visit, and it presents a wealth of photo opportunities, if your journey takes you to the Eastern Sierras.
