Excellent images, John! There are less pigeons in that neighborhood, I assume, huh

? I see that it is doing the same habit after a meal as its cliff-dweller counterparts over here in California.

Thanks Shirley and Joshua! Not sure about pigeon numbers, but I've seen them land within 15 yds of the PF, and be ignored! So I'm thinking its the PF you don't see that will get you!

Thanks Morris I agree deep set falcon eyes can be difficult in that regard. If I squint, I can see a faint catchlight in some of the later images too (e.g. last pic).
