Nice review! Great to see the GXF100s being used on the street.
The shot of the skateboarder is awesome - great application of crop-ability of 102 megapixels

Thanks a bunch. And I think you can get away with much more cropping when need be.

I was going to say...even as a 61mp cam user myself...you call that cropping?!

If it's cropping you want to see, this is about a 12mp crop from the other day. I wouldn't ordinarily crop to this extent, but it was a good moment and I shot with what I had on hand

I took mine out for a spin.. Harsh sunlight Unfortunately missed sunset. All with the 32-64mm lens. All processed in Capture one. I am still learning my way around Capture 1.

For those doing long exposures using the zooms and large/heavy primes on their 100s, what type of support system are you using, if any? I get a bit weak just thinking about the forces acting on the cameraís lens mount with something like the 32-6mm mounted. The only lenses I can thing of that have a dedicated tripod mount are the 250 & 100-200. Coming from a Sony A7RIV and some rangefinders to this GFX 100s is fantastic, but I canít help but worry about the weight of these (non-dedicated tripod collar) lenses being supported by the cameraís lens mount which in turn puts a moment of force on whatever camera to tripod bracket that all depends on the life of that 1/4-20 threaded screw.

Why? The Sony 135 is just as heavy as the 32-64.

Iíve never shot (or held) the Sony 135. My longest/heaviest lens for E mount was the 100/2.8 STF.

Iím doing some landscape photography tomorrow with a rented lens, the 23/4. As Iím not a landscape type of shooter, this will be a learning experience for me. I got to thinking about lens size/weight when I was narrowing my only two choices of lens rentals, the 23/4 & 32-64/4. So I figured I would ask here about camera support on this 100s and the 50x cameras.

32-64mm isn't that heavy. I won't worry about the mount.

Very nice pics - spring in CA is very nice and green. FWIW for the coastal hikes I personally like the long end of the 45-100 and its a great combo with the 100s

Are some of them from Aptos?

Only lenses with which one has to be careful are super telephotos. Shooting them with one hand can rip the mount piece and it's support structure clean off the camera.

After taking two weeks to be delivered due to Amazon's screw up my GFX100s arrived late yesterday. The weather was lousy and getting dark but I managed to sneak into the back garden for a few minutes and take this one picture on the GF120. Processed in C1.
