Wow, I must say the Tom Cruise Deep Fakes on TikTok are stunning. I wasn't able to tell they are fake, especially on a phone. Will Deep Fakes be the end of portrait photography? It would be like using a green screen for your backdrop but now you don't even need the subject.

Imagine Mission Impossible XXXIV when Tom Cruise is 90 years old but appears 25 years old in his films still.

To a certain extent we do it now with portraits and group photography. Just look at PortraitPro and how it can change the shape of the face, nose, eyes, etc. Then there's the common practice of putting heads from one group shot on to another shot so everyone has a great smile and is looking at the camera in one photo.

I'm more concerned about real versus fake videos that distort important news, information, etc.
