I have not posted in this or any other forum for some time and I have only recently begun building up my camera gear after selling it all of nearly 8 years ago. To get me back in the mood I have been revisiting some old images and I thought I would share this one with you. Hope you enjoy.

The portrait looks front focused. The blue fabric closer to her chin seems to be where the focal plane is. If this is what you were aiming for, then fine. But to me, that detracts somewhat from what is otherwise a lovely portrait.

Ken;
Her face appears "soft" compared to the rest of the image. Not so soft that it detracts from a good composition but might only enhance it. Just $.02!

The facial tones and the blue shawl(?) compliment each other!!

The focus is a little tiny bit off but it is an excellent portrait nonetheless, Ken!

Thanks Dan, it was a quick grab shot as we were walking around a local village. Yes as you say, the focus is slightly out and is more sharp just in front of her face on the shawl, but i thought it worth posting as she looked so serene.

Thanks Joshua, as Dan also pointed out, it is a little soft on her face, but I just loved the overall image.
