It worked, so I'm posting a few more!

Another from the 24mm f/3.5...probably stopped down to f/5.6 or f/8.

And one from the 35mm f/2...also probably stopped down to f/5.6 or f/8.

Those really do look good. I need to get this 24mm 3.5 and try it. Have the Tamron 24mm 2.8..yet again. Bought it twice because it's so stupid cheap. Seriously have zero complaints but the Sigma 24mm 3.5 has a diff. draw. Would match my Sigma 45mm 2.8.

Resistance is futile....

P.S That one on the dock is exactly what I"m talking about. Such nice color and overall balance.

I ended up getting the 24mm f/2. I know the f/3.5 is smaller and cheaper but I like having f/2 at 24, 35, and 65. I didn’t get the 20/2 because I already had the Sony FE 20/1.8 G and it’s only 3 grams heavier than the Sigma. If you can afford the f/2 and you are ok with the weight does the f/3.5 have any benefits?

The f/3.5 can focus ridiculously close (1:2 magnification, so almost a macro, which is really fun to have with a wide angle lens). I miss that lens for that reason. Might buy it again.

Sigma 24mm f3.5 DG DN on the A7R II earlier this morning.

If I had taken my tripod with me, I would have stopped down a bit more or stacked focus to get the entire log sharp; instead I went with a 5x4 crop to cut out most of the unsharp portion.

I now went throught the whole thread - great pictures. However, I would love to see more samples from the 24/ DG DN - and some feedback on the performance. Thanks.

All with the Sigma 35mm F2 DG, first shot with Fujifilm Eterna Film Simulation (in camera), the other 2 some hand crafted HDR shots. Starting to like this lens alot for experimentation, as it's light and IQ-wise has very little weaknesses, so you don't amplify them when you mess with other factors/settings.

Actually I thought about starting the i-series with the 24mm f2 and get the 35mm and the 65mm later. But I got a great offer for a used 65 f2 in best condition for about 470 Euros which I couldn't resist.
