I'm sorta new here. New to posting, rather than just lurking, anyway. I figured I'd go ahead and jump in with both feet, so to speak.

This is one of my favorite photos I've taken. Critiques and constructive criticism invited.

I upgraded from my old E-M10 to a Sony a7rIV at the beginning of 2020, but I have not had any good dives with sharks since then. Thanks, COVID....

Stuart, the virus cannot be transmitted under water; I think you are safe there

! That’s a creepy but creepy good image - you did well capturing that! How deep is the water there? Just curious.

It's exciting in a fun way. Not an adrenaline rush way. Those are Sand Tiger sharks, off of North Carolina. They are very docile. The excitement is in finding them and then succeeding in capturing good images of them. Quite often, once you start swimming anywhere close enough to them to get good photos, they will just swim off.

Thank you! That was around 110 - 115' deep.

Actually, I think I benefited from some reflection off the sand on the bottom.

That is the bow section of the wreck of the Aeolus. A USCG cable layer. Purpose sunk in 1988 as an artificial reef, off the coast of North Carolina. 20-something miles out, I think(?). Usually accessed by a dive charter boat out of Morehead City, NC. Usually hosting a number of Sand Tiger sharks.
