As a wildlife photographer, one never knows what will happen.

I was about 100 feet away on another dune from the owl. The people that popped into my frame were on a third dune about 100 feet the other side of the owl. The first frame was at 840mm and cropped a bit, the last two at 600mm as the light was fading and cropped quite a bit.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

Morris

Haha, it happens to all of us, I guess. The second image is still a keeper, Morris and it is great image actually.

I would have moved and repositioned myself so they are not in the frame ... unless that’s impossible - I would then politely tell the photobombers to get lost!

Would love to see one of these owls in person. Keep 'em coming, Morris.

Thank you Joshua,
I agree with you regarding the last and sometimes an image like this is super special

Thank you Bobby,
I was standing in a crowd of photographers all sociality distanced and with no space to move at the top of a dune. I did say "Anybody got a rifle?" Everyone laughed

The photographer in the background popped up for a moment, took his stunning silhouette images and went back down. He is as entitled to take photos as I am.

Thank you Roberta,
This owl seems to like the attention as I've seen it fly into a crowd of people a few times

Nice set, Morris! Happens to all of us. I've had several shoots ruined before by people coming into the background.
