I managed to come across this fern hanging off the side of a log that had the golden sun hitting it just right. Captured along the Ramsey Cascades trail in the GSMNP.

Nicely seen and captured! I like to simplicity of this image.
I tried many times this year to get a decent image similar to this but always failed miserably.

I am always on the lookout for a chance to get a good fern image. I have never really been that successful, though. This one I am proud to have captured.
