Every late fall/early winter, a few Purple Sandpipers show up along the Great Lakes in Michigan. This year seems to be really good for them. We had some nice light not long ago, which is rare for Michigan this time of the year. I took advantage and spent quite a while watching this one.

I have to say, I have been loving the Sony A9 and 200-600 I've had for a few weeks now.
