I echo all of the positive remarks thus far. Really nice.

I only wish she would be looking more to her right, over her shoulder. That (IMO) would have left the viewer wondering what she was looking back at (literally and figuratively).

This would have made the image *much* stronger from a purely artistic perspective.

As it stands, she is looking *just* off camera, which is a bit in between what I recommended and at the camera...as if you gave her an instruction and shot too early, if that makes sense.

Technically, though, it's perfect!

Lovely image of a lovely model, Ron! The lighting is superb.

Not directly a critique and I was struggling with similar situations. I like the use of the gel filter on the right. But, I noticed her neck took on the reflected color off the wall and that was a little pinkish. IMHO, had that area been more like her left shoulder, in other words more or less neutral or less colored, it would have been better. A minor issue that I saw in a few of my studio shots...

Overall very nice, like your overall palette, comp and exposure.

I think that just acouple of refinements would take it up to the next level.

I would back off just a tad on the saturation of the pink tones in her hair. The only other nit would try and smooth out the wrinkles in the lower part of her dress. I've had success using a combination of D&B, frquency separation and the mixture brush for this before.

What we don't often think about when models have a rack of clothes to wear for a photo shoot is how the clothes really look...on the model.

The part of the pink dress just under her right arm is very wrinkled. When submitting a portfolio to display work one must look at other tangibles besides..."color gels, lighting, expression, pose...".

When I showed my wife this photo she immediately saw the wrinkled part of the dress. A portable steamer can work wonders to smooth out wrinkles in clothing without the need to wash or send to the cleaners.

Or if the person is more of a software guy instead of a photographer he can edit the wrinkles out.
