We've been spending some time in the Blanding, Utah area. We made the hike up Mule Canyon to see the famous "House On Fire" pueblo ruin and try to capture our own version of the iconic image. The skies were pretty cloudy during the hike and also when we arrived at the site, but we waited hoping for the sun needed for the flame effect. Luckily it came out long enough and still low enough for the shot. I was pretty happy with the result.

it really is an incredible ruin and a nice hike. Bummer the sun didn't fully cooperate. It's stunning when it does. There are plenty of beautiful ruins in the area. Enjoy!
