These are just gorgeous Joshua ! #1 for me if you're counting
Gary, right now there is not much going on in terms of bird photography. There are Northern harriers at a location fairly remote from where I live. I will check that place out next week since I am in Santa Monica this week at my son’s place. So, that’s still in the air. The most consistent birds here, that I know of at least, are peregrine falcons, white-tailed kites and burrowing owls. The season of all 3 is over this year. Peregrine falcons will be active in early spring through the summer; white-tailed kites in late spring through summer and burrowing owls early summer to early fall. So, based on what we know, peregrine falcons will be first to get active. If you decide to come down here sometime between April and June, please let me know and we can shoot together at that location. Last year there were 2 nests that were separated some 10 miles or so. They were consistently active and I was able to get literally thousands of images between the two locations.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Gary!
