Was shooting Pika one day last week when I heard a noise, turned around and a group of Mountain Goats had come up behind me. So I sat down and enjoyed their company. Nice to see them in full winter coats.

Love them...lucky that you didn't run into any billies, that coat is really ruined with all the blood on the back thighs this time of year.

What an encounter! An you got a batch great images. It's hard to comment on how impressive they are. The goats look like they just got back from being groomed. And the photos of the young ones are spectacular.

Thanks for posting these great images. It is a pleasure to see them.

BTW, I think a couple of them are not Mountain Goats.
