I made a comment recently about the very high ratio of female vs male Northern harriers. Finally, some images of a grey ghost and they are superb. Bravo, Philip!

There's a female Northern Harrier hunting close to where I live. I hope one day to get a few pics that are 1/100 as good as yours.

Did the bird just show up? Were you planning this for a long time? Did you wait a lot?
