This morning I spent about an hour with two young coyotes, watching them hunt and interact. This was at a local park where they're quite comfortable with people, in fact one came within about 5 feet from me and looked into my eyes to see if she was ok - that was incredible!

Lots of images (but far less than I shot!)

Great set of photos of a coyote hunting! He/she will have to catch quite a few mice in order to stay fed.

Wonderful images, Bob! I love them, especially #2 and a few of the hunting ones - well captured!

There are wild coyotes on the hill very close to where I live but there is no access to that area. I better check out that place you captured those images before too long

It's nice they let you get so close and, even with you present, they continued with their hunting.

I think they eat whatever they can catch, I saw one eat a flying insect as it went by!
