At 4,000 ft elevation it snows here in winter, but not every year.
There was very little rain this summer, the monsoons came but didn't bring much water to the land.
Still these green bushes survive.
The monsoon clouds sometimes offer just minutes of a sprinkle that touches the ground, most of it evaporating before making contact.
