Had a beer and painting virtual festival and decided to try recreating one of my photos instead of the provided festival template 😂😂😂

My sun star turned into a weird jellyfish shape hahaha.

Original was from Cape Johnson in Olympic National Park.

I thought I was the only one that took pictures for that same reason. I do admire your effort. Pretty sure I couldn't have come that close if I were painting - beer or no!!

The photograph is amazing though! Suggestion, just have the photograph printed on canvas and call it a day!

I have way over 10000 hours of study, courses, and experience with photography. My painting efforts are only a few hundred hours but my paintings generate more interest than my photography. People seem to think painting is more difficult. I don't.
